MarketingSherpa Seeks Readers' Stories for New Wisdom 2006 Report

SUMMARY: No summary available
Dear MarketingSherpa Reader,

Can I get a quote from you about a test result or campaign lesson you learned in 2005 for our new Wisdom from the Field report?

Please submit your quote at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=498851626715

Here's how it works:

If chosen, your mini-story -- in your own words -- will be published in our 4th annual "Marketing Wisdom from the Field" report in January.

The Report will be distributed -- freely -- to our 173,000 readers. You can include your name and a hotlink URL or you can submit anonymously.

Your lesson learned quote can be short or long, but it must be based on a real-life experience of your own. Here are some suggestions...

o The story of a test campaign that worked better (or worse) than expected.

o What you learned -- from real-life experience -- about specific tactics such as email, search, tracking metrics properly, etc.

o Career stories -- from hiring to budgeting to dealing with office politics

The deadline for quotes is December 31st. Here's the link to submit your mini-story for publication: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=498851626715

Thanks so much,

Anne Holland, Publisher MarketingSherpa anneh@marketingsherpa.com

P.S. I think that much of the value in submitting a story is in just sitting back for a moment and thinking over your year. It's astonishing how many lessons you learn over a year that you forget later in your deluge of ongoing work.

I truly believe that every marketer has learned at least one lesson this year that will benefit others, if you can only tell it. Here's your platform to share your test results with the community -- and also to get back test results from others.

P.P.S. Please join me in thanking Omniture, who has graciously volunteered to cover this year's Wisdom Report production costs as a service to the marketing community.
