In addition, readers can find global outsourcing deals between customer companies and service providers. Readers can search for events on outsourcing worldwide.

How to pitch
The most important element of your pitch is “suitability for our audience,” Bhambal says. She looks for opportunities to interview relevant people, hear new angles and publish news stories.

Her pet peeve is PR people’s desire to convert all meetings into stories. Instead, “I like to look at meetings as a means to understanding the industry that the publication serves, and as a way to get to know people whom I may approach when doing a story where their views will fit.”

Bhambal suggests that you send queries to their Assistant Editor. Responses to an inquiry usually come within three to four days.

Contribute to Global Services
Global Services' content comes mostly from trade writers and industry insiders’ editorial contributions. Some comes from external sources. If you would like to contribute, you have two options:

#1. The editors invite you to blog about your experiences and lessons learned, and post your questions, complaints and compliments. Get a password for the blog by entering your name and email address.

#2. If you have an opinion on an outsourcing-related issue, paste your article here: http://www.globalservicesmedia.com/content/general/AddArticleReaders.asp

Meet Bhambal and other editors
Meeting Bhambal is a bit difficult since she is based in India and travels to the United States only four times a year. While here, though, she schedules meetings around her travel dates. In India, she moves between Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and “anywhere else required.”

We suggest you contact her to arrange a meeting during her travel times. Also, check out Global Services’ conferences and TechWebCasts.
