Optimizing the Evolving Landscape of Mobile Email Marketing

Pamela Markey, MECLABS, and Alex Corzo, Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation

This presentation provides the blueprint on how Corzo and his team developed a mobile marketing program at The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club (a Marriott Vacations brand).

Corzo faced two key challenges:

  • Email landing pages were not optimized for mobile.
  • He did not have resources for a major mobile optimization effort.

The solution was launching a basic pilot test to make the case for mobile optimization.
