MarketingSherpa Email Summit ’08 to Feature Session on Deploying Video eMagazines to Enhance Customer Engagement

Warren, RI, January 9, 2008—MarketingSherpa, a research firm publishing Case Studies and benchmark guides for marketing professionals, will feature a session on video eMagazines at its Email Summit, February 26, 2008, at 9:45 a.m. Ken Bott, Director, Global Consulting Marketing, multi-brand and relationship marketing for IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), will be the presenter at this advanced B-to-C breakout session.

MarketingSherpa’s Email Summit ’08 will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami, Florida, February 24-26, and is expected to attract over 800 participants. The event will offer the latest market research on email marketing and include presentations from leading email marketers and in-depth analysis of Case Studies.

Bott's session, titled “Deploying Video eMagazines to Enhance Engagement,” will cover the most current information on using video as a tool to build loyalty program advertising. Bott will show how IHG uses video as a way to strengthen its customer relationships. The session will cover how IHG reached and retained clients with innovative relationship-building strategies.

In his position at IHG, Bott is responsible for all multi-brand global promotions, loyalty program advertising, affinity/sponsorship marketing programs and the direction of IHG’s consumer segmentation strategy. Bott holds degrees in Business Administration and Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
