How smart is this? When a Chicago-area restaurant saw bad weather was in the forecast,
they sent this friendly offer as a pre-emptive strike to inspire customers to come in
anyway. Definitely an idea that other retailers should copy.

This campaign targeted Noodles & Company's loyal guests/email members who live in the Chicago area.
The goal of the campaign was to drive traffic during the inclement weather. This campaign highlights
the amazing responsiveness of this medium to current conditions. In this case it was snow and lots of it.
Based in Denver, Noodles & Company saw firsthand how the snow affected their local business and tried
to end run the weather by turning this email out in 2 days (thanks to Fishbowl's Local Store Marketing tool)
and before the predicted weather hit the Chicago area. Sorry, the judges promised this winner that we
would keep their results private. However, be assured that we have seen all the data - and were thoroughly
impressed!
