These are the Terms and Conditions for entry into MarketingSherpa Awards 2017.

Before participating, please read through and accept these Official Rules. If you do not accept them, you are not eligible to participate. The MarketingSherpa Awards 2017 (the "Promotion"), brought to you by MarketingSherpa (the "Promoter") will be governed by these rules (the "Official Rules").
To be eligible to participate, you must be at least 18 years of age. Employees and directors of Promoter and its licensees, advertising, promotion or production agencies and provider companies (and their respective dependents, immediate family members and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible to participate.
The Promoter and its associated companies reserve the right, at any time, to verify the eligibility of Participants.
2. PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion’s final entries (blog comments with lead generation page URL) are considered until Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:59 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time. The Promoter reserves the right to extend this deadline to a later date, as it deems fit.
3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The contest is open to anyone involved in marketing — brand-side marketers, agencies and vendors, nonprofits, and government agencies. THERE IS NO FEE FOR ENTRY. To enter, go to the entry submissions and complete the required information.
Participants are not required to purchase product or services to enter the Promotion.
Without limitation of the foregoing, by entering the Promotion, each entrant irrevocably agrees that the Promoter will have the irrevocable right to publish the entrant’s Submission, both online and in printed material, for public viewing and comment. All entries become the property of MarketingSherpa.
Email campaigns will be picked from the MarketingSherpa submission. Criteria are at the sole discretion of the judges. Marketing campaigns will then be nominated by the MarketingSherpa judges.
Nominations and winners are decided at the sole discretion of the judges. The decisions of the judges are final.
The “Readers’ Choice” nominees will be selected by judges, and voted on by the MarketingSherpa audience through a polling feature on a MarketingSherpa.com blog post.
No cheating tolerated.
You acknowledge and agree that no form of cheating will be tolerated. If you are found cheating, as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter you will immediately be disqualified from the Promotion. Cheating includes, but is not limited to, counterfeiting documents, using multiple identification numbers or identities, tampering with, hacking of the Promotiont site, participating in the Promotion without meeting the eligibility requirements, using any automated software or device to gain an advantage during the Promotion, use of the Promotion beyond the defined rules of the Promotion, attempting to disable or overwhelm any of MarketingSherpa's websites or the Promotion site, attempting to disrupt any portion of the Promotion, including but not limited to, allowing somebody else to use your Personal Information, or tampering with the entry process.
5. BEST-IN-SHOW WINNER
If a nominated campaign is declared the Best-in-Show award winner, one (1) winner will receive: lodging in one (1) deluxe room at the ARIA Resort and Casino Las Vegas for three (3) nights during the MarketingSherpa Summit 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada, a $500 reimbursement for winners traveling from the United States or $750 reimbursement for winners traveling from outside the United states. Two (2) tickets for access to MarketingSherpa Summit, and up to three (3) official MarketingSherpa Awards trophies.
6. READERS’ CHOICE WINNER
If a nominated campaign is declared the Readers' Choice award winner, one (1) winner will receive: lodging in one (1) deluxe room at the ARIA Resort and Casino Las Vegas for three (3) nights during the MarketingSherpa Summit 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada, a $500 reimbursement for winners traveling from the United States or $750 reimbursement for winners traveling from outside the United states. Two (2) tickets for access to MarketingSherpa Summit, and up to three (3) official MarketingSherpa Awards trophies.
8. DETERMINATION OF THE WINNER
The Promoter’s decision is final. The winner will need to provide within seven (7) days from notification valid contact information to the Promoter in order to redeem the Prize.
If the winner fails to contact the Promoter within seven (7) days after notification, the winner shall forfeit the Prize. In this event, the Promoter shall select another winner from the remaining eligible entries or dispose of the Prize in any way it deems fit.
9. RIGHT TO USE ANY SUBMITTED CONTENT
By submitting, and upon such submission of, any information or materials including but not limited to website, landing page, name of the company, logo, or the like, or any other material (the "Content") to the Promoter, Participant agrees to the use, publication and other reasonable public relations activities related to the Prize and expressly grants to the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free and free of charge, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, copy, modify, adapt, communicate to the public, make available, publish, translate, create derivative works of, distribute, and display such Content or any concept described in it throughout the world in any media, including but not limited to any product and/or service, such as a blog post or email send, without compensation, or any restrictions on use, accountability or liability, and with waiver of all rights to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
