MarketingSherpa Marketing Blog Readerís Choice Awards

The MarketingSherpa Marketing Blog Readerís Choice Awards (the "Promotion"), brought to you by MarketingSherpa (the "Promoter") will be governed by these rules (the "Official Rules").

Before participating, please read through and accept these Official Rules. If you do not accept the Official Rules, you are not eligible to participate. The MarketingSherpa Marketing Blog Readerís Choice Awards (the "Promotion"), brought to you by MarketingSherpa (the "Promoter") will be governed by these rules (the "Official Rules").

1. ELIGIBILITY

No purchase necessary to enter or win. To be eligible to participate, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Employees and directors of Promoter and its licensees are not eligible to participate. The Promoter and its associated companies reserve the right, at any time, to verify the eligibility of Participants.

2. PROMOTION PERIOD

The Promotionís final entries (blog comments with nominated marketing blogs) are considered until Sunday, May 13, 2012, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. After that time, the MarketingSherpa blog audience will vote on their favorite blogs from among the most popular nominees.

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Nominate your favorite marketing blogs, which may include your own blog. Comments can be submitted on the MarketingSherpa blog post entitled, "Blog Awards: Nominate your favorite marketing blogs," located on the MarketingSherpa blog - http://sherpablog.marketingsherpa.com/. No purchase necessary to enter or win.

To enter the Promotion, Participants are not required to purchase product or services.

4. PRIZES

A winning marketing blog will be chosen in each category based on asurvey of the MarketingSherpa blog audience. Each winning blog will receive: mention on the MarketingSherpa blog, an awards seal linking to that mention, and the opportunity to write a guest blog post on the MarketingSherpa blog (must be fresh content, no selling). This content must meet the final approval of the MarketingSherpa blog editors.

NO PRIZE WINNER HEREUNDER SHALL BE PERMITTED TO (A) REPLACE HIS/HER DESIGNATED PRIZE WITH ANOTHER PRIZE OR ITEM, (B) TRANSFER OR ASSIGN HIS/HER DESIGNATED PRIZE TO ANOTHER PERSON, OR (C) REDEEM HIS/HER PRIZE FOR CASH. PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT, EXERCISABLE AT ANY TIME IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION, TO SUBSTITUTE A PRIZE (OR PORTION THEREOF), PROVIDED THAT THE SUBSTITUTE PRIZE IS AN ITEM OF COMPARABLE OR GREATER VALUE. PRIZES ARE AWARDED "AS IS" WITH NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED BY THE PROMOTEROR THEIR ASSOCIATED COMPANIES. ALL PRIZE DETAILS ARE AT PROMOTERíS SOLE DISCRETION. ANY COSTS AND EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH PRIZE ACCEPTANCE AND USE NOT SPECIFIED HEREIN AS BEING PROVIDED ARE EACH WINNERíS SOLE RESPONSIBILITY, INCLUDING ANY AND ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES.

In acceptance of the Prize, the winner(s) acknowledges and agrees that they may incur costs associated with the Prize which are the entire responsibility of the winner(s).

5. DETERMINATION OF THE WINNER

The Promoterís decision is final and the winner will be announced on the MarketingSherpa blog. The winner will subsequently need to provide within 7 days from notification valid contact information to the Promoter in order to redeem the Prize.

If the winner fails to contact the Promoter within 7 days after notification, the winner shall forfeit the Prize. In this event, the Promoter shall select another winner from the remaining eligible entries or dispose of the Prize in any way it deems fit.

6. RIGHT TO USE ANY SUBMITTED CONTENT

By submitting, and upon such submission of, any information or materials including but not limited to website, landing page, name of the company, logo, or the like, or any other material (the "Content") to the Promoter, Participant agrees to the use, publication and other reasonable public relations activities related to the Prize and expressly grants to the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free and free of charge, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, copy, modify, adapt, communicate to the public, make available, publish, translate, create derivative works of, distribute, and display such Content or any concept described in it throughout the world in any media, including but not limited to any product and/or service, such as a blog post or email send, without compensation, or any restrictions on use, accountability or liability, and with waiver of all rights to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
